Business groups honor Congressman Coble

U.S. Rep. Howard Coble has his hands full with awards from business groups won in the past week.

The Greensboro Republican was given the Friend of the Shareholder Award by the American Shareholders Association for his voting stance recording tax cuts last year.

That voting record also earned Coble the "Hero of the Taxpayer Award" by the Americans for Tax Reform.

And the Small Business Survival Committee, a small-business advocacy group, gave Coble its 2004 Small Business Advocate Award for his voting record.

Roughly half the senators and representatives on Capitol Hill won these awards.
